All staff and volunteers are required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring check and a Single Central Record is kept in school detailing the checks which have been completed. Parents volunteering to help in school will be also be required undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Baring check.
The Headteacher and staff are pleased to meet parents to discuss any issues as they arise. It is better to meet class teachers after school, by arrangement. The Headteacher is usually available at the start of each day when welcoming children and parents into school. Parents who wish to discuss matters of a private nature with the Headteacher are encouraged to do so, preferably by appointment.
All school parents are invited to sign a home/school agreement setting out the relative contributions of the school and parents to a successful education for children.

Our Key Stage 2 School Council got together to review and make changes to our child-friendly safeguarding policy.
They send shared the updated policy with the classes.
All children attend an assembly to learn about safeguarding in our school.
